The information provided here is designed
to help you get the best out of the World's best fancy dress
site. If anything that you order from us is unsuitable it
can be returned within 28 days, (excluding p&p) provided
it is unused and in a saleable condition. We cannot refund
on make-up that has been opened. None of this information
alters any of your statutory rights.
Privacy Policy
Any information that you supply to Fantasy World Fancy Dress
will be treated by us as confidential. Our site is secure
and Fantasy World Fancy Dress NEVER supplies lists of addresses
or any other information to a third party (other than clearing
payments with credit card companies etc.)
Fantasy World may use your e-mail
address to contact you about special promotions or new products
on our site, if you do not wish to receive e-mails from
us then please contact Fantasy World. However we do need
a full e-mail and postal address to send you goods.
Security
Fantasy World Fancy Dress is a secure site, depending on
how your web-browser is configured you should find a padlock
displayed. Rest assured we never hand your details on to
anyone.

This site and the images on it are copyright to our suppliers
and licence holders. All rights are reserved. Any links
to this site should be requested in writing to Fantasy
World.
How will I be sent my purchases?
We use Royal Mail Special Delivery for the majority of our
packages; this will require a signature on arrival. Shipping
costs include postage and packing. Current shipping costs
are £7.50 per order up to 2kg. If the total weight
of your order exceeds 2kg we will contact you with shipping
costs. Although we endeavour to dispatch orders within 2
working days please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
Fantasy World cannot be held responsible for delays caused
by Royal Mail or other carriers.
We do not refund shipping costs: it
is your responsibility to return items to us; we recommend
recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery. Fantasy
World cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods
whilst they are being returned.
Can I visit Fantasy World in person?
Yes! You can see a massive range of our products at our
shop from Tues - Sat 10am - 5.30pm. Opening times are subject
to alteration over the Halloween, Christmas and New Year
periods - please contact us for details. For costume hire
you need to be there one hour before closing.
What sizes are the costumes to buy?
Fantasy World Fancy Dress Costumes to buy are either available
as a 'standard size' or available in small medium and large.

Can I rent a costume on line?
yes costumes can be rented on line, but calling into a branch
(if near by ) is recommended as you will have a greater
choice. When you rent a costume from Fantasy World you have
to read and agree to our full terms & conditions.
Can I buy a costume?
Yes you can - we have ranges of costumes for adults and
children available for on-line purchase.
How can I pay for goods and services
over the web?
We accept Visa, Visa Delta, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch)
and if paying by American Express payment can only be done
using paypal, fantasy world shops, do not take amex directly,
we are unable to accept Visa Electron or Solo for purchases
on this site. Like any other shop we require full payment
for all purchase and transport costs before goods can be
released. If buying on the web we can only dispatch to the
address of the cardholder.
We accept company and personal cheques,
with a valid guarantee card. If you wish to pay by personal
cheque this will need to be cleared before we dispatch the
goods, this usually takes a minimum of three working days.
Please do not send cash for mail order purchases.
Paying by Cheque
We may use Equifax Cheque Services, a division of Equifax
plc, to guarantee your cheque. We may pass them details
of your cheque. If your cheque is subsequently returned
unpaid, we will inform Equifax Cheque Services and also
provide them with your name and address. Equifax Cheque
Services will record this information and use it to decide
whether to guarantee your present and future cheques. Equifax
Cheque Services may share their information with their Credit
Reference division and the subscribers to their Credit Reference
division in order to:
evaluate applications for credit made by your Company or,
if not acting on behalf of a company, by you and family
members of your household
manage credit facilities held by your Company or, if not
acting on behalf of a company, by you and family members
of your household
contact you to recover any debt owed and to prevent fraud.
What happens if the goods sent are
not suitable?
Fantasy World has a no quibble refund policy on all items
purchased over the Web (within 28 days of receipt) provided
they are returned unused and in saleable condition. We cannot
refund for makeup items that have been opened or used. Refunds
will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase
– in the case of cheque payment a cheque will issued.
Product Variations
Because of our large range and the nature of our product,
we cannot guarantee that all items are immediately available.
We will let you know if any of the items you have ordered
are not in stock. Because of the type of products we offer,
there can be minor variations in colour and style. This
does not affect your statutory rights.
